This customer’s new home had a very old water softener and a pressure tank. Due to its age, the pressure tank let the well pump short cycle – meaning it turned on and off whenever water was sent into the system. When this young family was in the process of buying the home, they also discovered that arsenic was in the water and wanted to make sure all the water was being treated.

The first step for this home was to install a new pressure tank to alleviate the well pump from cycling on and off repeatedly. Second, we put in a high flow sediment filter followed by a new, high-efficiency water softener that uses approximately 80% less salt. Next, the twin tank arsenic media system was installed to treat all the water in the home for this young family. Because the water softener uses a water meter, we can quickly check how much water has been used.
